SECTION C

1. Explain what is meant by ‘project life cycle’ as it applies to a new computer system (refer to the waterfall model if this assists your explanation) and describe the main stages of a new computer systems life-cycle.
2. Outline the key stages in planning the change over from a manual systems (such as for an accounts and sales ledger) to a computerised system. Clearly explain what testing needs to be done and how that should be planned.
